Fave looks & Jennifer Lopez Met Gala dress

Nobody does American classic sportswear, better than Michael Kors and for his latest Resort 2014 collection, Kors has found the inspiration in the ’70s. He was playing with a neutral palette, but has also included quite a few bright colors and animal prints as well. All the pieces are the embodiment of the true chic style and are perfectly crafted for the modern day woman. The collection includes super lovely pieces in leather, which is an edgy texture, that in this case though, looks quite feminine and functional. We are totally lovin’ the turquoise leather shirt-dress and few animal printed body suits, pants and dresses too. Michael Kors has really played with quite a few animal prints, from the leopard to giraffe ones, and has also used some exotic skins. We absolutely adore the menswear inspired looks, paired with big flaired, again 70’s inspired, palazzo pants. And don’t let me even start with the Red Carpet section, ’cause one particular look already captured our attention, since we saw it first, on Ms Jennifer Lopez, for her Red Carpet appearance at this years Met Gala. For that occasion Jennifer was actually wearing a sparkling giraffe printed gown, custom made especially for her. The look comes from the Red Carpet part of the line, included in the Resort 2014 collection. Back to the collection and besides those gorge pieces, color-block dresses, like the ones with halter top neck and V-neck, we also found quite lovely. Not to forget, how we gotta say it one more time, Mr Kors really knows how to mix his expert tailoring and simplicity, in most unique way possible. To summ it all up – JUST LOVING IT!
