Rose Quartz & Serenity Blue

Pantone is worldwide leading company for color communication from designer to manufacturer and retailer to customer. Each year Pantone chooses a color that is going to represent the whole year. Past colors of the year include brownish-red Marsala in 2015, purple-pink Radiant Orchid, in 2014 and Emerald, back in 2013. For the next year, 2016, Pantone has chosen a blending of two colors Rose Quartz & Serenity Blue. This annual event (of deciding which color is going to be color of the year) is watched closely by the fashion industry, that uses colors to predict forthcoming trends in clothes, home décor and more. To get even better idea, on the colors we are talking about, the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK, with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, is representing the exact idea of how these colors look like, when paired together.

If you are not sure, how to pair these spring like shades, we’ve prepared over 30 ideas, in our gallery above. You can also see the detailing, from Gucci and Roberto Cavalli Spring 2016 collections, below. Then again, if you are still not 100 % sure on how to incorporate these colors into your style, Pantene also suggests pairing this color combination with silver accents, like you can see in the Cavalli look, or even hot brights, for more sparkle, like the Gucci look.
