Something that we certainly plan to do in the future, is introduce more international collections, look books and designers that we really like and the ones that we want to bring your attention to as well. So this time around with pop kissing Art deco and the mix that flourishes risky examples, like fishnet sleeveless shirts with floral patterns and fine colorful organza collars, we are introducing the latest collection by the young and up and coming Italian designer, Vincent Billeci. Vincenzo has decided to name his brand, inspired by his first name and his admiration for french fashion and culture and that is how name VINCENT has come about. He’s originally a Sicilian designer, born in a small town near Palermo, but for the last couple of years his professional life has been divided between Milan and his birth town near Palermo, called L’isola delle Femmine. Biography of this young designer is already pretty impressive and besides having an amazing educational background and finishing Accademia di Belle Arti in Palermo and continuing to improve even more, with enrolling into prestigious IED Moda lab Milano, it was only this past September that he was able to caught the eye, of one of the most important fashion magazines on the planet, and yes we are talking about Italian Vogue. He was actually selected, by Vogue Italia/Vogue talents, as one of the best new designers of the year, while exclusively presenting his Fall Winter 2013/14 collection via vogue.it. section, dedicated to young new talents.

Coming back to his latest collection and look book, L’isola delle Femmine (feminine jailhouse in Palermo) and Maria, Stella del Mare, are the heart of the new collection, which was exactly where tradition meets contemporary design and the place where oversized clothes meets skinny garments, as well as where long dresses are developed from the super mini dresses. We’ve selected our fave looks, but for the complete look book, make sure to check out Vincent’s official web site and blog. ENJOY!

Vincent is also very well known for his clutches, that are hand made, have such a unique and original design and have already become a must have piece during recent fashion weeks in Milan and fave accessory piece for a lot of Italian fashion bloggers as well (of course we are fans too). So, as just mentioned, accessories are still big stars in the newest collection, like Rosalie bag that made a comeback and is available in three different new looks, in aquamarine and gold, coral red, tar black, geranium pink and silver. But the starring role has been given to SpineBAG, a metallic mauve with golden strap and silver fish-bone detailing, handmade by silversmiths in Palermo. For the third time in the row, now already an iconic SilverCowBag makes a comeback, with a new tar black color and silver cow insert detail. We are simply in love with the VINCENT clutches ♥ and we are sure you are gonna love them too :)
