Gigi & Kendall Supermodel status approved
If Anna Wintour (and her writers at vogue.com) approve your Supermodel status, than it must be official. And both, Gigi and Kendall, surely have the reason to celebrate. Even though they do come from somewhat reality TV background (Kendall more so, than Gigi), these young ladies have been persistent and have done their absolute best, in order to earn this title, in relatively short amount of time. You can hate it or love it, but they have plenty of credentials to prove it. All you need to do is, go through all the runway looks of fashion weeks in New York, Paris and Milan and see the beauty endorsement deals (Estee Lauder – Kendall and Maybelline – Gigi), campaigns (Balmain, Chanel and many more), then tones of editorials and covers for Vogue, Teen Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Allure and Interview magazine (to name a few) they did in the past couple of years. Plus, you can’t forget their impeccable street style and the fact, that cameras are following their each and every move, making them present in all of the press from around the world, not to forget incredible social media presence (hint Instagram much). All of that would not be complete, without their biggest success of the year and a dream that came true for them as well. And we are talking Victoria’s Secret 2015 show, that just catapulted them even higher into the fashion stratosphere.
Girls are also a huge favorite of the house of Balmain, and are practically BFF’s with Creative Director Olivier Rousteing and it’s no wonder they are doing all of his shows, attending all of his dinner parties and starring in his campaigns, or doing special runway projects, like this year’s Balmain x H&M presentation and the main show.
We’ve rounded up best of Kendall and Gigi runway, street and party style, that you can check in our special gallery selection.
